Each summer, as one of the most iconic stages of the Tour de France, all eyes turn to the Col de Galibier. Cyclists from all over the world have a go at it. Rising to an altitude of 2642 m, it is the fifth highest mountain peak road in the French Alps. At the other side of Valloire, the Col du Télégraphe at an altitude of 1566 m is also adored by cyclists. You can hire bikes from the hotel.

Crossing forests, fields and lakes, the resort of Valloire is a magnificent playground worth sharing with the entire family, with 17 marked mountain-bike trails, climbing, via ferrata, paragliding, an adventure park, horse-riding, fishing, tennis, golf and archery all on offer. It is also situated between two superb national parks: the Écrins and the Vanoise.
